AK PF action

I think you could 4bet/call rather than overbet shove. This is because by 4betting to say 24BB you allow the guy to continue with his bluffs and shove. If you shove the villain is obviously folding all his bluffs.

Having that said, it's an easy stack off if what you say is true.

Stacking off here is likely fine BTN vs BB.

Standard line would be to put in a 4bet of around $2.70 with intention of calling a shove.

Nothing too wrong with directly shoving if you don't expect opponent to have a wide 5bet range and you think it may look bluffy, but it's a non-standard line in current games.

I didn't have much info on him so...

Here I decided to direct shove because I thought he`s not 5bet bluffing often enough OOP, and he might also fold a hand like AQ,AJs vs a 4bet but he might find a crying call with AQ because he thinks I`m BS`ing with the shove(I also tanked)... I`m also winning a lot if he gets scared and folds AK,JJ.

I don't know if that made enough sens, bottom line is: if he`s reluctant to stack off(w JJ,AK) I win, if he thinks I`m F*ing around and calls lighter AQ I win.

Did that make sens? Was that a correct thought process ?

Yeah, back in 2010, you could rep small PP's by 4bet shoving and get guys to call with AJ/AT expecting a flip.

The strategy has a number of problems if you start thinking about it from a balance perspective, but exploitatively your reasoning is likely fine.

Although tbh I don't expect him to fold AK here ever. I think your shove actually makes you look weaker generally.
