hi pretty new to cash playing as a learning process but here i made this play on the flop which i really have no idea why

limped pot, the villain has shown fishy tendencies but not much, never really open limped out of the 54 hands we played so dont know what range he is doing it with

on the flop i decided to chk raise instead of lead and give myself a cheap turn card, not sure which play is better here or what hands i expected to fold
so i would like u guys to tell me if a chk raise is good here then why, and explain what would the right play be

on the turn i decided to chk raise again as by betting the pot would be no where near what i want it to be on the river and since he bet pot on flop and called i thought he is likely to bet th turn what do u guys think again

Hi

I would probably just pot every street myself - i think u should lead cos no one has the initiative and we have no reason to believethat he would often bet when checked to.

I actually quite like the idea of the turn checkraise esp if u have reason to believe that villain will bet turn when checked to (for pot building purposes). U probably dont have many reads here but the ten coordinates the pot and probably helps his range so much so i think its a reasonable play.
