Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 2260192

BTN: $16.03 - VPIP: 38, PFR: 15, 3B: 0, AF: 2,3, Hands: 13
SB: $30.36
BB: $25.00
UTG: $46.36
MP: $11.85
Hero (CO): $33.67

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is CO with A :club: K
1 fold, MP raises to $0.50, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, 3 folds

Flop: ($3.85) 6  7 :club: 2  (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50

I didn't want to cbet as I thought I can't make him fold much, but when he bet I got good odds to calls.

Turn: ($6.85) 4 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50

Again, semi-good odds to call and I think TP with A or K will crush his range.

River: ($13.85) 6 :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $9.53, Hero folds

Should I opt for calls on flop and turn or should I just give up?

Hey Immot,

Preflop is fine.

ON the flop check/folding is likely fine. Usually BTN has a reasonably strong range after he cold-calls a 3bet so very often you are drawing to 6-outs + only guaranteed to see one additional card.

You might even be able to argue a really thin flop c/c if opponent bets a lot IP, but by the turn I would definitely be check/folding.
