well played imo. with smaller SPR I would just jam flop over his fish click raise. but starting this deep you can still 3bet/fold vs him (he looks quite tight, so should play face up vs your line).

what would you do on the turn if he flats flop? Obv im talking abt a card that doesnt hit us.

a) a total blank - a non club 9-
b) a non club T, Q, or K
c) a club?

cause tbh i have no idea what to do in any of these scenarios. I'll prolly shove b) and ch/f a) and c) but im really not sure abt it.

i would just check/fold if we miss. if he went raise/call flop, that indicates to me he has something and a turn barrel probably won't get him off.

club , this you MIGHT be able to just bluff shove because fish get very scared of flush draws. But I still think it's too risky. We made our play on the flop, it didnt work out, c/f.

For one thing, I like bigger cbet OOP tbh. Also, a fish is gonna very often see your small cbet as a weakness and try to exploit it. Then the problem remains- you have a non-made hand OOP.

So, I just size this 130 OOP and 100 IP.

Also-why blow up the pot with a 3bet on the flop? Why not flat and c/c any Turn and fold rivers if we miss/big sizing? It's the only way we get value from bluffs, we are deep, we can afford to play around a bit. I also think shoving flop will be better with lower SPR, prolly I then I like a smaller sizing of the cbet also.

Or you advocate for 3bet/folding on the flop just because we don't wanna be playing OOP?

yes i also cbet bigger OOP.

i like 3betting because I do not want to soul read turn/river OOP.
