Poker Stars, $6.48 Buy-in (15/30 blinds) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 5 Players
CO: 1,840 (61.3 bb)
BTN: 2,970 (99 bb)
SB: 1,800 (60 bb)
Hero (BB): 1,470 (49 bb)
MP: 920 (30.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T T
MP calls 30, CO calls 30, BTN raises to 150, 1 fold, hero?

Button is an apparently winning TAG reg: 17/15, 3bet 5.1, 1700 hands. What would be your relevant ranges here? Thanks.

Tbh, I prefer a small 3bet here. Looks super strong and we don't get to the spot where we play a multiway pot hoping we hit a set. Or a HU pot with the competent player OOP.

So yeah, I like a 3bet/fold here to 390 f.e.

Folding not an option, ofc you can call, but for the reasons mentioned above, I prefer to take the more aggro line.

My range will be very dynamic here depending on my reads.

Vs somebody who's iso-ing loose, I will 3bet a wider range just cuz fishes are never strong and he's gonna have a big gap between his iso-4bet range. My range will be including pairs and blocker hands like Ax. If he adjusts, I re-adjust by reducing my 3bet bluff range and increasing my value 3bet/stack off range, f.e. hands like AQ/88 etc.
