Preflop: Hero is BTN with A 7
2 folds, CO calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, SB folds, BB calls $1.50, CO folds

Flop: ($4.75) 8 9 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.87, BB calls $2.87

Turn: ($10.49) 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ??

villain is 23/17/4.8

Although he is fit/fold I don't see him folding too many of the hands he calls on flop if he folds any.

Hi,

He could be calling some weak hands like AT+ KJ + etc and could fold to a turn bet.

And let's look at what cards on the turn can strengthen our range or weaken his, any TJQKA and 6. And we don't need so much fold equity when our hand has equity. So I think we can bet the turn here.

Thanks
