AK cut off

hi sokoi - i'm assuming you want this hand evaluated by one of the judges so i'll move it to the nl50 evaluation board. however i can't really do it yet because i don't know if you are playing MSS or BSS. you are not playing with 100bb so it is important to know so i can move it to the right forum ♦

anyhow, about the hand - i don't play nl50 so i may be "unqualified" to answer, but i think this is a pretty clear 4bet/stack off preflop. basically by calling the 3bet OOP you are probably burning money given that you are playing with a mid stack - this means you have less room to maneuver postflop. when you call, you pretty much rely on hitting in which case you play fit/fold which isn't a really good idea. so overall i think your decision should have been made preflop.

as played, whats the point for donking the flop? don't you think villain will cbet here himself? and against the ship i don't think we have a choice but to call now - you called the 3bet OOP, hit TPTK and so folding is probably a mistake when we need only ~23% equity to call.

also one more thing; do you have any information on your opponent? it could help the judges make a better evaluation.
