There seems to be an issue with the HUD for players who have special characters in the name. The HUD is displayed as if there are no hands recorded for those players. However, I can see their stats in the replayer, so only the real-time HUD seems to be affected by this.
It's very frustrating to play against some regs who I'm sure are aware of this. Otherwise why would somebody choose a name like that?

I see that the forum can interpret the chars correctly. Notepad just puts a black block where that cross is.
