Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: If you plan to fold on the turn why bother calling the flop to let him "float". Clearly our hand is really weak when we take a line like this so any aggro guy will barrel more than one street, especially on a "scare" card.

So I would recommend that you just cbet or have a more developed plan for turn/river when you give up initiative OOP so early in the hand.

Well, there are a few differences in those two hands actually.

In the first one you are probably not paying attention that you are in fact UTG vs MP so when you cbet a flop like that one you generally do not get called light.

However, SB vs BB is a different beast where you can expect to get called ligther more frequently

As far as the plan goes you need to look at how you'd play the hand on various cards and how you can get to showdown (which is what you are after). For this you need to look at the villain and the info you have on him.

For example, what range bets the flush card so large on that turn?

He can't really raise the flop since we are not betting.

But I agree that generally he does not bet sets/TP/2p like this so he is polarized. Thus another call would not be terrible.
