Villain is about 9/7 or so.

I convinced myself he could have 77, 88, 99 but it's actually not a lot of hands.

1) Is check - fold vs these stats fine? Keep in mind that on the turn he is less then PSB.

2) Say villain is fish in this hand. Which one would be better: shipping or check shoving on this turn?

Hi all,

C/f is good vs this player. C/s is good vs a fish.

BTW when we c/f turn against this player, we're not necessarily giving up on the pot. Quite often our opponent will check back worse hands (like the 77-99) against us on the turn, and we can valuebet our hand on the river.
