you shouldn't play hands much different just because its turbo/nonturbo with 20bbstacksize!
Try to maximize your value!

Pre minraise is enough! you don't want to build a huge stack and you want as many options postflop as possible (small raise = smaller pot = more options)

As played with 20bbs you can easily b/c or ch/r this board! Even ch/c would be ok against this bet!

I've never really tried min raising, would at least make 2.25bb raise, or shove. With how many effective big blinds should I start to consider it? 25?

Can't really add much but yeah raising over 2x with only 20bb isn't really optimal. What if you are shoved on?

Not sure why you decide to check? Seems like a good board to lead. If he raises I am getting it in as there is already a lot of my stack in the middle

I was trying to avoid going all in, and I tought I would be better waiting for better opportunities since it was getting kind of close to bubble and the tournament had a slow structure, but it does seem unreasonable to fold that hand indeed.
Anyway, I'm just trying to get my mind on the min raising. I always thought it would look way too weak to raise 2x at any point, but I want to change that now.

while minraising isn't a good line in cashgames it is absolute standard in MTT's. I will always minraise as soon as antes kick in (except from SB because I would have to play it oop postflop). Betting bigger won't give you any benefits. Your fold equity won't be significantly higher and your steals must be way more efficient. By minraising you can steal way looser and it is easier to react to shorter opponents.

As played I would most likely bet/call the flop since I always have a high cbet percentage and the board is a standard cbetting board for me. Check/raising the board would also be a valid option. I don't see any possibility of folding with our stack and nutflushdraw + overcard.
