I think you played that very well. You have nuts all the way, so no point in hurrying up. You caught him well.

I wouldn't limp with 66 in MP1 though.. (maybe that's just me, but ir rarely pays off to limp with small pairs imo)

There is a point about getting money in sooner. The earlier you start building pot the easier it is to get all in by river which is what we want with nuts. In this case i kinda agree tho - nothing we could really hurry up since that flop is unlikely to have hit anyone. You hold all the 6s and 2 is not too likely card what opponents could hold. Turn again was kinda crappy as doubt anyone holds 4. Only thing that adds now is flush draw. Perhaps you could have raised turn but i think i would also just call and hope someone hits river.

Well it pays off about every 8th time ♦ With blinds at this level i think its ok to limp from MP with pair.

You are right that in the early stages it can be done. But when you play at party the blinds increase really fast, so it's not a very good idea to limp small pairs and loose 7 out of 8 times imo.

Hi all,

I almost always bet the flop here. We get value from other pocketpairs, and also 2x type hands. Also, the pot is so small, we have to bet if we want to get any significant numbers of chips into the pot before the river.

As played, I raise the turn to get more value from flushdraws and the rare straight.

As played, I shove over the river bet. If he has a flush (and probably with a straight) he still calls us.

It is very profitable to play small pocket pairs like this. You pay 20 chips 8 times and then take someone's whole stack of 1500 chips the next time when you hit. I thinks this is kind of a nice deal.....

exactly! implied odds are great especially when your opponents stack off with such bad hands ♦.
