I have played this one on my mobile so sorry for no graphics.

NL10 Zoom, no info.
UTG (68bb) limps, BU (132bb) raises to 5bb, we are on SB (100bb) with A♥ 5♥, decided to call, BB (87bb) folds (hoped he would call), UTG folds as well.

So we are HU on 9♣ 4♣ 4♠ board. Flop goes check check.
A♦ arrives on the turn, we check, BU stabs slightly larger than 1\2 pot, we call.
River 8♥, what is the best action?

1) Preflop: is it a good idea to call pre when there are possibly two fishes in the pot but when we're likely vs big dominating hand like AK, AQ and OOP?
2) River: c\f? His check on the flop is unlikely PP, mainly broadways I think, probably with SD value so it seems like no reason to bet neither as a bluff nor for value and we can't stand his bet if it occurs.

Hello,

Preflop call is fine if we are comfortable postflop as his raise is a little bit big.

River basically changes nothing so if we expect him to have mostly top pairs there why are we calling turn?

Best,
Plamen

Well, he may have smth like KQ, KJ, QJ on the turn so I thought it was a call :)

I would usually expect people to double bluff in this spot or don't bluff.
