First, may I wish you a a happy birthday and many more of them to come!

Next, I tend not to set specific goals as well, but they do help to focus, the hard part is picking the right ones for me. The need to be sensible and achievable at least.
However, focusing on improving will get you moving up the stakes, but be aware patience may be needed to get there.

Don't get fancy, play very simple and straightforward and you will be [pleasantly] surprised I have no doubt. Oh and don't be bluffing stacks off trying to get people to fold, they wont!

I agree with the not setting too specific goals. I probably put down whatever vision/ goals I have for myself here, as and when I form them.

Play wise today was definitely not one of my best days. I 3bet called loose on one occasion and that cost me, overplayed my over pair once but didnt lose much though.

I normally dont shove over like this on a scary board, but villain had 100% flop tunr and river cbet over 130 hands. So unless he got really lucky here Iam good most of the times. But on hind sight I should have chk called nad re evaluated river.

Felt like an update. Played a bit after my last update. About 9 k hands. Ran quite well.

BR is at 115$.

My grinding style now has changed a lto from how it used to be say 4 months ago.

More focussed and tilt lesser.

I'm using more features in the HUD like steal % etc. Sometimes aggression %.

Can wait to hit Nl5 . I'll have a go when I ahve about 25BIs.

Too tired to look for hands and post them.

Lesson learnt: Keep things plain and simple.

On the other hand. I put some money in my 888 accoutn which used to get my HEM2 on the 4th and have been running quite well I must say. ♠_cool:

As Mal suggested, keep it simple. NL10 is achievable playing simple ABC poker and not getting too fancy. (Fish don't understand fancy plays). By the time you get to NL25 and NL50 you would have learnt a lot. You will also be up against a better standard of player who you will be able to make the fancy moves.

Keep trying to turn that red line up. There has been a definite improvement from around the 7300 hand mark.

Nice work at 888 as well.

The thing that I've noticed about redline is that it generally goes in the opposite direction as that of the blue line. You gotta check out Fraz4's red and blue line. Some crazy graphs hes got there.
