Hi,

just fold flop. You are just in too bad of a shape vs his donk potting range here.

am i really? an overpair + gs + 2x bdf?

i guess i forgot to mention that he is a total whale, 32 hands vpip 94 pfr 84 aggresion 3.8 , flop donk bet 67(3)

i know it's a small sample, but i could kinda tell hi was a bit crazy

if he would have been an unknown - could i not just call the flop donk bet, and fold the turn if unimproved?

The problem is you can't really improve OTT. You don't have single nut out. So against a hand like AKJ you are drawing almost dead otf. If you think this guy is terrible enough to do random stuff, than just ship flop. Calling is bad imo, because you'll just ship the money in on almost any turn if you think you are good otf. Or is there a specific turn you were willing to fold? :)

Just fold flop. You have a lot of "semi-equity" as you might say, but not even a K or J gives you the nuts here.

that's just burning money. because even if you hit, especially a :club: or  you are still only drawing, and have 0 guarantee you'll hit the river.

When you hit, you barely get the right pot odds vs a made hand, and even then with the assumption your flush, straight, and set outs are clean. But half the time you will have to fold the turn. So it's either making a barely neutral EV call ott, or just folding and letting the opponent have it.

So you are calling to have 33% ott at best, or have to fold a turn. Not a good scenario either way.
