The donk here was actually a mistake, I thought I had the initiative (happens sometimes when I multitable) and I'd much rather keep the pot small and peel a turn card. I know a lot of regs will reraise any two overcards in this spot as the donk bet looks very fishy. I proceed to call thinking the turn might go check-check and I can fire off a river bluff if a scare card comes on the turn or river. When he bets 1/2 pot I think I can narrow his range to sets (44,77,88,QQ), KK and AA. I call here because I think I can stack him all the time if I hit the river. River comes a 6 and I miss. Given my very passive play, I think I can credibly represent a straight having a 5 here as there is pretty much nothing else I will barrel here - I do not shove as that can be interpreted as a bluff. I just didn't put him on 56s from UTG, and the flop reraise just looked so bluffy to me as it misses so much of an UTG open range. I call off the rest of my stack, knowing it's a mistake... guess curiosity killed the cat.
