SB: $2.09 (104.5 bb)
BB: $1.83 (91.5 bb)
Hero (MP): $2 (100 bb)
CO: $2 (100 bb) 50/5/hands 23
BTN: $4.09 (204.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9♠ 8♠
CO posts BB OOP, Hero raises to $0.08, CO calls $0.06, 3 folds

loose open pre but the BB was fishy so i want to play with him IP . Also the co was marked as recreational player.

Flop: ($0.19) 7♥ 5♥ 7♣ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.13, CO calls $0.13

Turn: ($0.45) 8♣ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.31, CO calls $0.31

River: ($1.07) A♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.53, Hero folds

flop turn i think are stadar bets. River though the A hits well his range and i think all the weaker pairs check back . So i think its ok to ch/.fold .
However i want to ask if the river was blank like 2s we can ch/call a 1/2 size bet ? cause all the draws missed ?

Hi,

Since you picked up showdown value you can also c/c turn instead of c/f.
I doubt he would float twice with Ax hands, so I would prefer c/c turn to get value from missed flushdraws.

best regards,

actually meant to say c/c turn instead of b/f
I think river c/c is reasonable- players would us expect to bet ourself with Ax or better, so likely they would bluff enough times with busted draws that we can call profitable.
