What advice good or bad did cost you the most money? (Because you lost following the advice given)

It can be an outright bad advice that is -EV.

It can be a good +EV advice that turned unprofitable because variance got in the way.

For me it was an advice from Chris Ferguson.

In a tournament, if you are shortstacked and get to see a flop; if you connect with the flop in any way shape or form you must go allin.

This sounds like a good advice but I lost so much money following this advice. I don't remember this procedure working even 1 time for me. Vary bad variance.

The advice that cost me the most money was that I should get married and settle down. :f_cry:

LOL I'd imagine the average wife would spend more than most regs can earn at poker, even with rake back. But the freerolls are great!!!!
