Hi lads, I am joining bloggers section to talk about my journey thorough POKER
Blog started with HU hypers, continued with 180man turbo mtts, after 6th page will start 6max zoom.

(i want to stick to 1 blog instead of making lots of them)

-------------------------------------------------------------
Heads Up SnGs (mostly hypers and super speed formats in everywhere)

At the moment I am playing on PKR for fun, because they gave me 10$ for free :f_love: (cashed out all my BR from Pstars some time ago) After couple good run tournaments decided to make small deposit because they offered 125% bonus matching for first deposit.

PKR HUSNGs are like 10 000 chips and 2min blind levels
So here are graphs so far:
In big blinds:

and in chips:

As you can see after depositing I am struggling with variance :f_biggrin: Hope it will go away.

Will post some interesting hands in here sometimes. Overall I am playing 1,5$ and 3,5$ super speed HUSNGs (rake kills in here 10% i`m still there just because of deposit bonus after that will go back to Pokerstars)

Cheers lads & run good! :)

1st! Hehe

Welcome to the blogging section. Goodluck with your SNGs.

Those hypers are high variance so make sure to keep a good amount of BIs for your bankroll.

Regards,

Kyle.

decided to keep playing @ Pokerstars instead of PKR due to high rake.

Interesting hand in here, is it a fold on flop? had 90 hands on villain and this was his first Checkraise. Tightish guy with high 3B frequency.

against total random i am flipping so its a clear shove on flop, but against 9x, Kx range i have only 28% equity so decided to fold in here. Calling is out of question in this spot imo because we will be pot commited on turn and we will need to put all the chips in middle anyway.

Hey,

just found your blog and im following, currently playing husngs on stars myself :)

With regards to the hand posted, i think preflop is questionable, especially vs tightish player i would be flatting or folding pre, not sure theres any reason to 3bet a tight player, as played i think im folding flop

Hey, just saw this, gl with hypers :)

This wasn't a check/raise, you 3bet, cbet and he raised.

I'm not sure you have a choice but to jam it in. Yeah, it kinda sucks, but you have a fd in a 3b pot...

Preflop is also fine. I might make it 100 vs a fish, though.

Regarding the T8 hand, limp preflop. Players this low don't isolate enough and we play pretty well postflop IP with this holding. Also we can often take down the pot more often with a limp/stab than a minraise/cbet. As played we're not getting away from the stacks getting in postflop, he donks and we have around 10 outs if you take into account a lot of his range is 9x but he has some blockers for our straight draws.

About the 73s hand, generally preflop is okay, but against a tight minraiser we're pretty much burning money and either getting shoved on a ton or getting to postflop with a much weaker range than our opponent. Against people minraising the population tendency of like 60% or whatever fold enough vs 3bets to make it a profitable move. But as bjela said, make it t100 when we do decide to 3bet, it adds fold equity. The board sucks for us, he has a ton of Kx, 9x and draws in his range, with that being said I probably c/c the flop rather than cbet it.

had a day off from poker, just hadn`t time to play, gym and 8 hour work takes my whole day sometimes :/

but todays not even better, will have a break for rest of the day, can`t win any flip and opponents just run good against me. No specific hands to talk about.

3,5$ + couple 1,5$ in the end

GL on tables! :)

small update: gap between EV and winnings is spreeeeeaaaaaadiiiing :f_cry:

hi guys what do you think about my SB position play? it looks like i`m doing quite bad in here
though
VPIP: 73
PFR 60
Flop CB: 46 (i think this should be in abut 60-70)
Turn CB: 54 this looks fine imo

feeling like kinda bleeding money IP

BB aka OOP play
this looks fine for me and I`m ok with stats i think.

Be more aggressive and play more hands. Position is the greatest power in poker, and by not playing enough hands and playing too passively with the hands we do play we are just giving money away.

My VPIP is 77%, PFR 66%.
Cbet wise i'm playing very aggressively, 74% Flop cbet, 72% Turn cbet and 64% River cbet. With my success rates i've just quickly figured out that when 3 barrelling, in general only 20% of hands get to showdown after facing a 3 barrel. Also, after calling a flop cbet only 1/3 of hands reach showdown when I 3barrel.
