Hello,

Full Tilt Poker $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 2311352
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

SB: $32.39 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 16, 3B: 5, AF: 2,8, Hands: 19783
BB: $28.63 - VPIP: 37, PFR: 14, 3B: 6, AF: 1,7, Hands: 711
Hero (UTG): $25.69 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 22, 3B: 8, AF: 2,5, Hands: 11489
CO: $42.75 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 16, 3B: 7, AF: 2,6, Hands: 9980
BTN: $68.87 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 17, 3B: 7, AF: 2,6, Hands: 1682

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is UTG with Q :spade: K :spade:
Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, SB raises to $2.50, BB calls $2.25, Hero calls $1.75

Flop: ($7.50) Q :club: 8 :spade: 2  (3 players)
SB bets $4.00, BB calls $4, Hero calls $4

Turn: ($19.50) K :diamond: (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $5.00, Hero calls $5, SB raises to $25.89, BB calls $17.13 all in, Hero calls $14.19 all in

River: ($82.95) 3 :spade: (3 players - 2 are all in)

This was quite weird spot for me. If the fish doesnt call i would simply just fold. BB´s 3bet is on a lower side so i dont think he is bluffing here really often.

What do you think of my play on turn? Can i still call here? What range can reg have?

Hi confidant91,

Looks like the other coaches missed your hand over the weekend (I was mostly away and didn't have time to review hands). But fear not I am here now :)

Anyway onto the hand.

SB is a pretty tight guy overall when it comes to 3-bets and he does 3-bet our UTG (MP) open so I would think twice about defending light or 4-betting as a bluff.

However the fish joins the pot and we have position on both so I think calling is fine.

I agree with your flop play but on the turn I'd just raise to iso the fish myself. As played I don't think the reg can ck/raise AK or AA often so you are looking at the nuts mostly in my opinion. I think any AQ/AK/AA would still bet.

Thanks for evaluating. I see that you judge lots of hand so it is completely normal to miss one time to time :)

Anyway what is differenc if i push turn? I thought that i might fold out some of Qx hand from fish range, but on the other hand it is true that he might check/fold the river with tham anyway.

It seems that i am quite a calling station lately :( I was almost sure that reg has nuts with this line, but i was still unable to old due t the fish in pot.

In truth there isn't a huge difference between raising turn and calling. If he has Qx he probably pays you off either way except when Ax hits the river.

So if there is no difference between raising turn and calling I would just raise here to make sure the money goes in now. I doubt he has any floats that would give him draws so his range is pairs or nothing.
