I can't see us folding the flop for one bet, and i think raising would be overplaying so the call is fine. However, when you only call, you let everyone know that you don't have a strong hand. Against more competitive villains that could be almost a invitation to run (semi)bluff. This is probably not a problem in PLO10 because players have tendency to play draws more passive way, but just something to think about for the future (and higher stakes). ;)

Since SB only calls the flop and checks the turn i think he have some sort of draw or TP. When you just call the bet on flop, i think SB would've raised every strong hand like set or even top two because yout hand looks like a draw or something else not that strong.

4  is quite good card for you so betting is fine. However, i think the sizing could be different in some cases. Because you are a pre-flop raiser, and with this line you could have A4xx so in that point of view, half a pot might be enough because you have some folding equity on your side. Against more calling station type player i would go a bit bigger just to make him pay for the draw. If villain for some reason check-raises here i would put him quite heavily towards A4xx(some fish may have also J4xx) and fold.

But i have to admit that i quite often have some troubles to choose right betsizing in right spots, so it would be great to hear what pros think about it.
And i have some weird obsession to became very suspicious when someone bets half a pot.. :f_biggrin:

Akward flop, but you can't fold here cause he's so short... If he had more bb's that's a snap fold.

Well played,
