Preflop: Hero is MP with Q A
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.30, CO folds, BTN raises to $0.90, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.95) A T 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.36, Hero calls $1.36

Turn: ($4.67) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.60, Hero calls $2.60

River: ($9.87) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $6.90, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$9.87 pot ($0.65 rake)
Final Board: A T 9 8 6
Hero mucked Q A and lost (-$4.86 net)
BTN mucked and won $9.22 ($4.36 net)

Preflop: I don't like calling his 3bet, I'm usually 4betting to $2,25 and folding to 5bet vs looser guys and folding directly vs tighter guys in this spot.
Postflop: I think it's way ahead way behind situation. I was thinking on calling up to 1/2 pot on river, but because of his small postflop aggression and big river bet, I believe I'm way behind.

Hello,

Calling the 3bet OOP against relatively unknown opponent is not good here.
I would rather 4bet here.

I think turn should be fold. I don't really see him betting worse there.

As played, river is fine.

Best,
Plamen
