0.5/1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.60 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BU with J♣, A♠
6 folds, Hero raises to $3.00, SB raises to $7.00, BB folds, Hero raises to $21.00 (All-In), SB calls $14.00.

Flop: ($43.00) 5♦, 9♠, 4♣
Turn: ($43.00) J♦
River: ($43.00) 3♠

Final Pot: $43.00

I assume this was a huge error. people with a pfr this low just don't resteal right? I was tricked by his low fold to steal stat into pushing. (for SB it was 70%)

It depends a bit on how you much are stealing.
If you steal 40%, you cannot fold AJ to a resteal because everyone will resteal a bit loser against you in the end.

If your ATS is 20, you might fold against this nit :)

Btw: just because he showed you AA now doesnt mean he wouldnt resteal ATo or 88.

If you use holdemmanager you could look up if he defends his blinds by 3betting or just calling. If he always defends actively you have quite an easy call. After all you only need about 42%

Nice explanation Ingolpoker, since its only NL100 I would fold it here. Minreraise is often nuts and just want to suck you in.
