i seem to always have some trouble in these spots. Villian here is 37/17. Should i be just trying to draw cheaply to overcards because he's giving me such good odds? I don't think he will fold to a bet and then I'm just inflating pot with nothing. Should i fold or just play check/call?

It really depends on the flop and our read on the opponent(s).

If he donk bets out often and the board is dry like T-2-2 rainbow then we can c/c or even c/r because it's very unlikely your opponent got a piece of that board.

If the board is super wet like the one you have here and you have air then we should really fold despite the good odds because we may have already been beaten or outs aren't clean.

Hi all,

Out of position you should fold the flop or the turn (it's close). In position you should call both as you can often make better decisions on the river (for the times you hit).
