Hi GreenPiece

Preflop: We are OOP vs a fishy guy that we can't expect to be aggro so I'd fold this here.

Postflop: As played look at why you called preflop. Set mine or play postflop? We have no reason to believe that villains 3-bet was not for value (most fish don't really 3-bet) so I would fold as well.

I saw fish play TT+,AQ+ this exact way so my intention was actually to play some poker postflop, not only set mining. I expected him to bet everything on the flop and that's why I called but didn't expect to continue turn with nothing, and the bet was large so I folded.

But you suggest folding it and looking for better spots right away?

Are you really suggesting folding JJ here pre against a 3bet covbu? That sounds a bit too nitty to me, to be honest. Even against a fish. True, we cannot expect him to be aggro here without any info , but at the same time I believe JJ should do well against an average fish 3betting range here and might even be ahead.

If we're not playing JJ here, what are we continuing with? Just KK+?

@Greenpiece: You saw this fish plays those hands like that or fish in general? I saw some fish 3-bet 27o but that's not the norm and when you have no info you look at what the average fish would do in this spot.

On the flop you are OOP, without initiative on a b oard that can get ugly for us fast. Why would you expect him to give up betting? He 3-bet preflop, made a sizable flop bet so I would expect a turn bet often thus, if I'm not planning to continue blank turns, fold the flop and move on.

@TinoLaan

Playing 3-bets OOP (fit/fold as seen here) is the fastest way to donate money to fish or regs alike.

So yes, without a plan of sorts and an idea how to play postflop why should you call that many BBs to just fit/fold it? You think you will show a profit doing so?
