loose passive villian min raises here. I didn't 3bet because his preflop raising range is pretty tight plus I'm in position with a hand that flops pretty well. I called his smallish cbet because of the size and 2nd pair. I know i made a huge mistake raising him here and should have just tossed my cards, not even called. What are thoughts on how i played this??

Hello munkey7 ,

Preflop:

Fold. Our hand is not good enough to play it. We are going to put our self in nasty situations post flop. We should have a good post flop play to make the call.

Flop:

As played, its OK to call one street for sure with second pair.

Turn:

Interesting idea to raise. I like it from one side because we are getting value from the draws and most important often we are going to get a free showdown. I like the small raise. We can also just call but the small raise with the idea for free showdown looks better.

River:

We can't do nothing else. Good call for this odds.
