Is there some way I can get rakeback while playing poker770? Currently i'm trying to play the 10c SnG's. I buy in for 10c+2c+(1c conversion?) which =30% rake lol. It's pretty stiff.

Hey zerker

You get 14% rakeback if you rake $250 a month playing tournaments which will help soften the blow a bit but yeah rake is one of those everpresent things with poker, only two things are certain in life, death and rake

Ok well that sounds great once I reach that level of play, for now I guess i'll just have to win a lot.. I mean a lot......... lol.

Oh but is that 250$+ earned dollars though ? Or would 250$+ and -250$ = 0$(500$ cycled? ) but you would gain 14% rake back? at 30% that would be huge(would mean 75$ profit) ;)

Hey zerker

I'm not actually sure. As a quick calculation, you would have to play 1500 of those tourneys a month to rake $250 I think. Sorry if that number is grossly incorrect I just calculated that if that 2c is the rake then .12/.2 * 250 = 1500 no matter if you won or lost you would get that $35 rakeback (250 * 15%)

oh so it's the amount of money i put into the rake? harsh. At 2c per game. thats 50games per dollar. That's 50x250 = 12,500 games to recieve 14% back. 14% of 250$ would be 35$

That's 416 SnG's a day lol

Yes. I think my bankroll is simply too low to account for up and down swings. Also since im so inexperienced a lot of mistakes are to be made. Also a lot of experimenting is to be done.

I did find out that my pay offs 19c + 49c isntead of 18c + 48c, So that's a bonus. Think that swings my rake to 27-28%?

There are freerolls which could help you build your roll but I think you have to be careful about how it affects your game though. Maybe play freerolls as well as these tourneys. Definitely a good learning experience imo plus the free entry is a huge bonus. My bro uses poker770 so i think they have a decent amount of freeroll tournaments to choose from from what he said.

Might need a bit of investigating. Here's one example
