Turn: ($1.02 - 51 bb) J♦ (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.32, BU raises for $0.64, Hero folds, BU gets uncalled back ($0.32)

I'm wondering whether my fold on the river was too tight. I've mostly studied how to play pre-flop and on the flop itself but in later streets I often struggle. I was concerned about AJ or J10s here, but wasn't really able to come up with a process for determining how likely that was, so leaned towards the side of caution.

Hello,

You should 3bet bigger - you are OOP and there are a lot of money in the pot already.
So I would make it around $0.22-$0.24.

I would cbet around half pot on the flop - this is a 3bet pot and we don't need to 3bet that big.

Turn isn't great, but we can still bet here - I don't like your sizing though - i'd rather bet around half pot as well.
When he raises we are usually beat so folding is fine.

Best,
Plamen

Hello Kyumpa,

I'm new here I want to learn from all the interesting hands posted here. So I have two questions.

You say you need to 3bet bigger, I agree. But on the flop you talk about 3bet not that big, what do you mean by that comparing to your first statement?

Don't you need to bet higher then halfpot for protection on the flop since you still have the best hand and the flop is dangerous.
