Hi jackwilder077

You could double barrel to make AQ/TT/JJ and other pairs fold but otherwise I agree that one and done is a waste of money.

Most people at 25nl don't call A high or 2nd pair for more than one street so generally you can make them fold it by the turn. As played you can bomb turn/river but your FE is usually smaller than betting flop/turn.

is it fine to give up early on the flop if I dont have enough info on the guy ??

or I waste money if I check /fold flop ??

Giving up is better than spewing money left/right without info.

But then you have to ask yourself why you 3-bet this hand preflop in a spot where you get called often and you flop little.

that a nice question !

I think if i am 3bet for value widely , in this spot ,i have to play aggressively in good spots to show profit..

but if I am giving up too fast (fit or fold) i think I have to tighter up my 3bet value range in this spot,

So maybe better to 3bet more as a bluff with blockers vs nitty guys that have high fold to 3bet

what do you think about my thought

thx

Yes, you want to 3-bet more for value vs people that call and then play postflop. If they are stations postflop we don't bluff and just valuebet and bet with equity.

So in this case, where you expect a ligther call to cbet you have a plan to either barrel with equity or fold without.
