Hi

MP in 226 hands: 58/18 AF 3.7
BTN only 47 hands: 55/26

what to do on that turn and SPR < 1; shove to charge hands like set and 2 pairs?, or check to let him bluff?

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players

MP: $16.44 (65.8 bb)
CO: $29.07 (116.3 bb)
BTN: $42.22 (168.9 bb)
Hero (SB): $25 (100 bb)
BB: $40.48 (161.9 bb)
UTG: $22.66 (90.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q♥ A♣ T♠ J♥
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.85, CO folds, BTN calls $0.85, Hero raises to $3.65, 2 folds, BTN calls $2.80

Flop: ($8.40) 8♠ 7♠ 9♣ (2 players)
Hero bets $6.40, BTN calls $6.40

Turn: ($21.20) 5♠ (2 players)
Hero?

Hi,

I would likely only bluff some A high flushes and would c/f most of the other hands (c/c some made flushes and sometimes sets)
So I think check should be fine.
My usual line would likely c/c turn if checked then c/c river.
he can turn some showdown value hands into bluffs+ sometimes shove lower straights

best regards,

Hi,

i would definetly go for a c/r on this flop. Why? Villain will stab with a very big % of his fd's, and maybe even with his air. But when he checks behind we can be sure he doesn't have anything, so we can play the hand forward accordingly.

With that, i would avoid this tough turn spot. Still i would check here, let villain bluff if he wants. It's really wierd that he just calls flop tough, and i can hardly put him on anything but a fd here, so i might even c/f.

Regards,

Skod
