I know this was a bit of a risky raise pre flop, but the play had been very cautious recently with min raises taking most pots down plus I hadnt raised for a while so my table image was good
A shove on the flop best here?

BB: 1,755 (11.7 bb)
UTG: 3,570 (23.8 bb)
MP: 2,155 (14.4 bb)
Hero (CO): 1,745 (11.6 bb)
BTN: 1,310 (8.7 bb)
SB: 2,965 (19.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8 7
2 folds, Hero raises to 300, BTN folds, SB calls 225, BB folds

Flop: (750) A 7 6 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 1,445 and is all-in, SB folds

Results:

Spoiler

750 pot
Final Board: A 7 6
Hero mucked 8 7 and won 750 (450 net)
SB mucked and lost (-300 net)

Hello slippyjim ,

Preflop:

If villains behind us are tight, than raise is fine.

Flop:

No need to make such over bet shove. Just make a c-bet to ~400 chips and call a shove. No ace or other stronger hand is folding to a shove so its better to make just some bet than to shove.
