Well, ICM, ICM, ICM...That's my advice. Study hard. It doesn't take just a day or a week. It's a non-stop process. Another advice I can give you is this:

When somebody is pushing about 5bb eff. and there is no to little risk aversion, you can generally call the same % of hands he is pushing towards high cards.

Meaning that if our opponent is pushing 35% here, I will also call like 35% of hands including mostly high cards. That means almost all suited Kings compared to his 35% that will include a lot of 67s, 78s, JTs type of hands. I call QJo vs a reg or a loose opponent.

Do you mean by clicking through ICM trainer or by reading some articles? Because I have read most of the articles I am allowed to but still struggle in these spots when it is bubble. How did you study ICM?

Back in the days with sng wiz(very outdated nowadays) and now-using both ICMizer and Holdem Resources. I used ICMtrainer for like 10 days. Poker is very fast developing business, you have to stay on top of the competition and that means spending more time studying and tbh-spending more money on pokersoftware as well. Every little edge is welcome.

To give you an example-an year and a half ago, using sng wiz, hem1 and working on your game was considered good enough. Now you have hem2 that offers a much superior and advanced hud and post game analysis option. You have sng solver(FGS), you have holdem resources, you have ICMizer. They all took the game to the next level. You see good players limping BTNs for like 15bb with KTs, KQo and then flatting on a raise, just because they are facing aggro blinds who will re-steal a lot. Limping BTN at any occasion was considered a very bad move. Regs were not flatting for 20bb effective or less Regs were playing strictly nash against eachother for like 10-15bb HU no matter that there is much more EV to be found then just open pushing for 10-15bb. Game changed so much.

As for how I study-I start playing around with the ICMizer checking 3-handed bubble spots. See how different stack sizes, stack set up influence our decision.

Also-I mark hands for every push/fold- raise/fold, steal-re-steal spot that I am unsure about and then check what ICM suggest.
