Preflop: Hero is CO with A♥, Q♦
UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, 3 folds, MP1 calls $0.40.

Flop: ($1.15) T♦, 3♠, 4♣ (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets $0.70, MP1 raises to $1.40, Hero folds, MP1 gets uncalled bet back..

Final Pot: $2.55

Overview: This is just a general example of what seems to be a wide problem for me on NL10 against loose players. I miss the flop, the villain checks. I make a 2/3 cbet, the villain instantly calls or raises. I give up on the hand, assuming the villain was slowplaying.

How do others deal with this scenario? Not cbet against such opponents? Push all in on the flop to increase fold equity and not be faced with a tricky decision? Call them if they re-raise?

First thing I do is that I note him down (check/clickraise OOP postflop)

When you made your cbet, you still got 80 pennies left.

Assume Villain is going to call you anyway as you dont have any fold equity (and if he folds, note that one down too!)

($1.5 + $0.7 + $1.15) :: $0.8
$3.35:$0.8
4.2:1

With 4.2:1 based on 2 cards you need 5 outs. Well with 2 overcards, I surely push this one! because you often play against a Medium PP or even jacks.
If he has Tens, so be it but you are profitable now in the long run.
You need 3,9:1 for 5 outs and 3,1:1 for 6 outs.

I would push this one but every check/raise is a case-per-case investigation

Also against his loose range, i would push it here as he also could hold QJ/QT/JT etc.

TBH i would have played it exactly the same way as you. You have to treat the hand as trash as you've not hit anything on the board.

You c-bet on the flop which was the correct move against one opponent but after MP1 raises i'm outta there the same as you. So IMO it was a good play.

I guess you did the right thing here, but if you feel wrong about it you may just call and see what happens. If you indeed was bluffed, you make a note on that guy...
