BTN wins $10.40

Pre:
Pretty standard I think.

Flop:
Suitable board to cbet for value + protect vs random overcards
Min raise! Already starting to worry about sets but think there are enough SDs and Pair+SD in his range that I didn't think folding getting over 4:1 was the correct option.

A possible range - giving me 47%eq
JJ,99-44,A7s-A6s,97s,86s+,75s+,65s,54s

Turn
This is where I think I should get away from it. I dont think the J changes much at all but his draws have just been offered the River for free and he still chooses to bet - in hindsight I know think his range is leaning HEAVILY to made hands - 2pair+
I think even low pair and OESD may take the free card here.

River
Already starting to think I misplayed the hand but now beating his 2pair and set hands I thought it criminal not to shove.

Feedback on my thought process (ingame and post) much appreciated.
Thanks,
MD

I just betfold flop.

1. This is 3way - raising ranges are stronger

2. Board is very coordinated - many straights and 2p combos

Thanks mbml.

You dont think pp77-99 and hands like 67s raise me on the flop too giving me suitable eq to call?

Flop as played, what about the rest?

Thanks,
MD

Well if your hand is not strong enough to call Flop, then folding Turn seems pretty logical.

I don't see any reason to donkshove the River - If he had a strong hand he would shove anyway. And if he has a bluff, you don't want to bet into him. It's not like the Ten is an action killing card which makes him afraid of value betting his weaker sets or two-pair hands.

I don't know if he raises 99/88 (that would be a pretty bad play) but you should always think about your equity vs his entire range and not just individual hands. Play around with equilab and see how you fare.
