Hey guys

Vill is rather unknown 28/26/70h

Pre: Might be a lose open but BU and SB were tight and BB is a fish.

Flop: Since I block 88 and 99 he has mostly draws, 44 and some over pairs. I thought it was better to 3b since it's hard to play if he barrels on a lot of cards I don't want to see.

Turn:  not the greatest turn card. Not sure what the best line here can be. Betting sucks cause some draws and over pairs fold. x/c sucks because where the hell do I stand with my hand. x/f the best line here even though I have a good hand?

Thanks!

Ras

Hi hvard92

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Given how the turn came out I think that just betting small, $5 or so (to induce) is your best plan.

So that's what I'd go for in this case.

AS far as the flop goes I think your 3-bet could be smaller as well.

pre is ok.
on the flop i think you should call and take it from there, partly because you pretty much never get in against worse otf and partly because i feel that he is air heavy on this board, specially because you block sets.

if you call flop then ofc we don't love it but can probably just c/c turn and river on this runout, yeah you lose to sets JT but i think his range should be wide enough.
maybe fold river but that is probably a slight mistake i guess... he seems aggro enough, his value range is narrow as you block sets and as a general population read JT more often than not plays passively.

Yeah well since I wasn't sure what to do I made a biggish 3b to have a PSB left ott. I'd make it smaller if I'd play your game.

I get what you say but I don't want to see a 5,6,7,Q,T and most over cards might give him a set as well. So I thought it's going to be hard to play further on.

Eventhough his range might be very air heavy I don't really want to start bluff catching on most run outs.

But you say "he doesn't call worse" and I do get that. Thats why I hate this turn. I wonder if I bet here if he's going to call with anything worse. Reason why I posted the hand :f_biggrin:

Thanks!

Ras
