UTG: $15 (150 bb)
Hero (MP): $21.12 (211.2 bb)

Flop: ($0.95) J 5 9 (3 players)
BB bets $0.95, Hero calls $0.95, BTN calls $0.95

BB bets $3.04, Hero calls $3.04, BTN folds

River: ($9.88) 2 (2 players)
BB bets $5.71 and is all-in, Hero calls $5.71

Small sample on villain. Has some gap between vpip/pfr. Might be sample issues. Low 3bet. Not overly aggro.

Firstly im not sure about flop play. I have really strong draw, but once he leads out with such sizing what should i do? Feels that raising is not an option in this case, because i might not have FE.

On turn he reduces his sizing a bit. Still calling?

River is straight forward.

Hello,

I think raising is still an option here. Even if you don't have fold equity you have very big equity even vs sets only, plus he could probably fold something.

As played, if we were heads up I would be happier with a call but as we don't draw to the nuts and we have a player behind I'd rather fold turn.

River is fine.

Best,
Plamen

Well if i plan to raise it up on flop. How we do it? Raise big and if he calls jam turn? Or we do everything standard?

I'd raise around $3-$3.2 on flop and shove turn if he calls.

Sounds really good. Its under potsize bet.

Yeah, the SPR you are getting is pretty convenient for you and you are going to have close to potsize bet.

what about making a small raise like 2x - 2.2x?
i think its super awesome cause it only makes him play worse.
i.e if he decides to slow down and let us bluff with his sets, its good, we get to see the 2 free cards until the River.
or if he decides to reraise, we just go broke either way with so much money in the pot.

i dont think making it $3+ will generate more FE than making it $1.99 considering that he potted the flop.

plus if we made it $3, he'd be more inclined to just stick the rest in.

any thoughts?

I think it is better to bet bigger.

With our strong hands we want the money in by the turn, also I do think that $3 will generate more FE than $2.

When he pot-bets, it seems he either has a set, or Jx.

I put the hands he could hold as:
JJ/99/55/AJ/KJ/QJ/J8s+/J8o+ (I think that's what I put in, I am on a tablet right now.)

Even here, with every hand better than ours right now, it's 50/50. We have FE against his bottom range, if we get in all-in we have good equity and if just a call, we can shove the turn and still have over 30% equity if he does show a set.

I have a question:
If we have overcards + flush draw (e.g. AKs/AQs) are we just flat-calling because are OC outs are not clean, in case he has a set? Or is that another raise/shove spot?
