If he is nitty and passive then I agree with your fold. Otherwise we have at least one call.

It's 45(11) from SB. That means 45% and 11 hands right?=P
I only use VPIP and PFR as stats. But since the course hasn't mentioned any of it yet, i'm probably not supposed to use stats until they gonna teach me something about it. But I do look at 3bet, cbet, fold to cbet and WTSD from time to time when it's crucial.

I get that i should 3-bet but i'm not comfortable with it yet since i'm not "there" yet. I rather follow the course step by step.

The course is not the only thing you should learn. You can always supplement it with what you are told here or what you see in videos (or lets say coachings). Looking at RFI (raise first in) or steal is a good start.

Ok i can start with RFI. So if he steals alot, i should 3bet more (with hands that beat his stealingrange). But i may not that comfortable doing it. If he steals alot and suddenly i began to 3-bet, and i have very little to no stats on "fold to 3-bet"? So, If he calls, i'm not that comfortbale valuebetting e.g. top pair BUT, i guess pot control comes in handy in that kind of situations IP???

...By the way. What's your opinion on stats? Bierbaer said in the last coaching that he didn't use stats for several reasons and rather took notes instead. Difficult for me who to listen to. If i have to choose by myself, i'm gonna listen to the one who is most successful. But what's your opinion?

Im not sure if you attend(ed) any of my coaching but I also barely use stats at these limits. However, if you have the sample and no notes/reads they are better to use than nothing.

I recently attended your and bierbaer's coachings for the last 3 weeks now and i'm gonna try to be there from now on since there's so much to learn and see how you deal with situations that i'm struggling with day to day. But you are playing SH for the most. Actually, i rather want to play SH myself but again since the course hasn't mentioned any of it yet it's probably because i should play FR at first since SH is a bit more advanced i think..?

I thought it was the opposite. Higher limits, less stats are used. Veriz said it in one of his videos.

Stats are useless and problematic if you don't know how to interpret them or you lack a sample. Both of those could be a problem even higher up.

I'd recommend sticking with FR as it's an overall easier game and once you feel comfortable you can try SH.
