HU SNGs - Bankroll management and when to move up

I have been experimenting with the normal-speed HU SNGs on i-poker.

Two questions.

The traditional PS advice is that you need a bankroll of 50 buy-ins, not including rake, to play full-ring SNGs. Does this hold for HU as well?

Second, I have been surviving at the entry-level $1 games, but it's a very small sample. I have played 52 and won 28. I lost most of the early efforts, but found my feet and have won 19 out of the last 30, and 9 out of the last 10.

I am thinking of moving up to the $2 games.

Assuming I have enough bankroll -

# should I give it a shot, or
# should I stay with the $1 games and build a bigger sample, to make sure that my recent success is not just a temporary upswing?

1. Play aggressively. CBet like 80%+... Double barrel and also make thin value bets with second pair if the board is right for it. Basically just bet.
2. When you feel you can crush anybody, move up.
3. Get bad beaten like 10 times.
4. Quit poker.

Seriously, though you can always make a 1-2 BI shot and see what happens.

Thanks, triple2. I will have a proper look when time permits. Only just now noticed your post. This has been a profitable format for me at the basic levels, but I still don't understand what I'm doing right, and how I could do it better. ?(

lol 50bi for normal speeds, you can play hypers using that brm.

for normal 25 is enough at low stakes, if you want to be bit safer use 30-35 tops.

also imo advice to play agroo is not good, play very straight forward, if you have it value bet, value bet and again value bet, dont make huge bluffs, also dont make herocalls, if you dont have it let go. Do this and you should be fine.

and also try to move up to 10-20$ levels asap, gap from 1$ games shouldnt be huge.

EDIT: lol It seems I cant read chart is fine
