As for me, its a mandatory bet on the turn, what are you afraid of? If he hit a flush he would tell you that by raising your turn bet. There is a lot of value in turn bet from any King, Jack, 9, 1card flushdraws etc. and you have to protect your hand.

Turn check has two purposes:
-keeping the pot small
-encouraging him to bluff the river,
river card was pretty unfortunate. But i guess you're right. This time I should have bet.

I agree with pelbonek. I will however cbet bigger on this flop. Fish is never folding a draw or a pair to a single bet. Make him pay.

Bet Turn again for value.
