Stacks:
UTG ($10.10) 101bb
UTG+1 ($15.24) 152bb
HERO (CO) ($10) 100bb
BTN ($11.16) 112bb 24/22, 3B@BU: 22(11), 14 total, 156h
SB ($10.82) 108bb
BB ($11.58) 116bb

Pre-Flop: ($0.15, 6 players) HERO is CO K♥ Q♦
2 folds, HERO raises to $0.30, BTN raises to $1, 2 folds, HERO raises to $2.30, BTN goes all-in $11.16, HERO folds

Villain is very aggro and 3-bets like a monkey. This time 4B bluff definitely is profitable, I have 2 blockers as well.

Hey dienaszaglis,

i am not professional judge but i will still try to give you some of mine thoughts. Maybe i can say something right :f_biggrin:.

So you say he is 3betting like a monkey. What do you think is his 3betting range? If he bets so much i think we can also just call preflop and keep his worse hands in play. Of course it will not be the easiest way to play KQ oop but vs such guy i think that calling his 3bet generates the most +EV.

Also 4bet bluff is +ev but i am not sure how much this guy fold to 4 bet and we cannot really call his shove. So folding is fine.

One think i though about is also that....if KQ is in your bluffing range what is your value range then and what is your calling range? Are you gping to call with AQ vs such guy? Probably you are ready to play for stacks with QQ+ and AK.

Hi,

Against wide 3-bettors I would mostly call with KQ.
If they like to 3-bet with wider ranges then you often dominate their hands and they would usually not fold postflop after hitting tp, so you can c/r for value on Q75s board and stack their QT. 4-betting is not bad, but I think he would 5-bet shove most pp-s which he is 3-betting, so you´re 4-bet/folding out quite a lot of equity.

best regards,

Hi,

As I recall - at the time I only had some 40h on him and his 3-bet % wasnt` that massive.
I really didn`t want to play OOP in 3-bet pot without initiative.

if you don´t feel comfortable just calling then both 4-betting or folding would be fine options.
