I know and heard 100 times that decision is much important than result.

However, I doubt my dicision after continuous bad result.

However, villain often made hand such a way and my ev is -.

This have continued 2~3 month and my energy is wasted for thinking about result and poker room cheat..

So I want to know the way to re-concentrate.

- What do you want to get out of the bootcamp?
Comparing my habit to very good player and fix my leak.

Moreover, I want to know the good poker player habit.

Hi Gonchan,

I'll be helping you out in this Boot Camp with topics like procrastination, motivation, laziness, productivity, focus while playing, putting in more volume/studying, creating habits that stick, etc.

Could you please tell me:

1) What is your #1 issue in those areas
2) What did you try so far to resolve it?
3) What worked and what didn't?

Thank you,

-Primoz

Hey Gonchan!

Welcome back to the Bootcamp! :)

How are you doing with tilt and mindset these days?

When it comes to the statement only decisions matter. After running so bad do you begin to question it? We all do eventually :)

Hello again, about mental,

1
I want to know how to resolve my sad feeling about poker, I'm feeling I encountered many hand which I can point out why villian's action was bad. However, many case he won and my ev became -(river draw complete so my equity is -100BBor 40BB even previous bad action) so I now wasting my energy to think about result and poker room cheat..

2
I was trying to convince myself that decision was important so result isn't important. However, continuing bad beat made me very sad(even it is better than past days.)

3
Hmm, I didn't take the way to resolve it aggressively.

Hello again,

I know decision only matters logically, but I also think my practice is in vain if my hand is crushed 60% of time when I have 75% equity many times..

So I also want to know how to keep motivation through these bad beats..

Ok you know it logically and you know it shouldn't affect you but it still does. So what do you think the issue is? Just wanna see what your perspective on it. :)

When you get as affected as you do by the results it's usually comes from a few different things. Let's see if anything is going on in these areas. :)

Is there a lot of pressure on you to make money from poker?
Are you studying and learning the game regularly every week?
How often are you checking your results when you are playing?

1 Is there a lot of pressure on you to make money from poker?

very heavily, I want to make living with it.

2 Are you studying and learning the game regularly every week?

I only post hand evaluation thread per session.

About video and database analysys, I didn't do this weekly.
I don't like making effort like whatever I can 24 hours, while I like making effort when I know what is difference between me and good player and how much I should do for it.

3 How often are you checking your results when you are playing?

I am trying not to check my BR during session, but I sometimes see my br twice per 1 session.

Moreover, I often remember my bad beat so I can roughly know result even without checking it.

I'm now considering what is "continous" learning.

I don't think I should study poker 24h, so I want to know how much famous coach do.

If I have same knowledge and some action, I can get same result, right?
