NL Holdem live tournament
€10+1 Buyin (1 Rebuy anytime before first brake €10)

Ten players at table.
Stacks:
Player1 - 50BB
Player2 - 100BB
Me - 50BB

Blinds 50/100 - Level 3

Pre-flop:
Player1 (UTG) - 300
Player2 (Early pos) - call 300
Me (middle pos) - raise 1000

Player1 and Player2 call my 3-bet.

Flop:
5,6,9 rainbow

Player1 and Player2 check.
Me - 1500

Player1 fold.
Player2 all in.

I have to call with my KK.
Player2 shows 6,9 off suit. He flopped two pair.

No help for me from turn and river.

Can You please explain me how Player2 could call my 3-bet pre flop?

I had notes of this player:
He was all-in in the first level when I sat to the tabel (i did not see hand).
He was all-in in the second level and doubled up. He shoved with 89o top pair and cut shot.

My first thinking is that he is a fish.
That is the main reason I do not play online (so much). Live tounements I see situations like this rarely.

I have to agree; it sounds like someone who doesn't really invest much time in investigating the value of hands prior to making decisions. I stopped playing online because there are too many of these players. It's so much more challenging for them to get away with this play in live tourneys so I also switched to live play only.

The only other thought I had was with two limpers, possibly raise a bit more (5x-7x) to try and get one of them out. With 300 invested already and the first limper calling the raise, the second limper was receiving great pot odds to see a flop. Not saying that was the reason behind the action but it may have been a reason that I would have seen a flop with those cards.
