Hi,
This was a final table of an MTT (standard payout structure) and I am pretty short already. Now when it is folded to SB who I think I should avoid playing against because he is bigger stack and I gotta compete against the other short-stack because of ICM (and since he is also a tricky opp) but can I just chceck back A9o? What if he OR in me, I was planning to fold actually if he opens. Thoughts>?

Thanks

CO: 100,718 (10.1 bb)
BTN: 332,080 (33.2 bb)
SB: 271,491 (27.1 bb)
Hero (BB): 131,711 (13.2 bb)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 A
2 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to 130,711 and is all-in

Hey benaars!

Imo easy shove as you did. So nh!
In case he openraises… unless he is really really nitty or always jams against you normally and minraises just his strong range its probably a fold. But even so minraise is sooo often a steal in this case. Most regulars are really lose here!

Greets,
