Do you think that I should have bet the flop here?
Was hoping for some action after I check but they were so passive...

hi

you are right, easy bet on the flop.
most fish fail by calling too much, not by betting too much. on this flop they can call any pocket pair, any flushdraw and possibly even overcards, while these hands might not bet themselves, specially as it is 4-way.

after the flop is checked through betting like you did is fine, i like the sizings.

Hey. I think bet the flop, we build the pot and get calls from draws and overcards and more action from overpairs. If we check/raise I think villains will fold a lot of these hands and they will usually play their draws and small pairs passively in a limped pot anyway.

I agree, slowplaying here doesn't make too much sense. They are not going to bluff in such a multiway pot, but they will call hands they may not bet themself.

Thank you guys, now I realise that my check/call plan was actually a bad idea.
I will probably post more winning hands that would get more value if played different way.
