$20 FTP 6max, 88

I see two options here
1) Bet flop, c/fold to turn/river donk/lead cause he will never fold to shove or raise after calling flop
2) Double barrel for value to get from KJ and J10 type of hands and maybe fold him from Qx type of hand!

I would never check 88 here behind on flop as it would be too exploitable opponents will crush us , after checking this flop they can lead turn and river and fold you from way stronger hands and you are never ready to call down with 88 to river so it is much better to bet flop. Without reads I am always double barreling this type of flop as I expect CL never to flat Ax type of hand but always 3 bet vs MID stack as MID will have to fold "everything" vs 3 bet from CL.

His aggression factor is 1.4 so I'm not really afraid of being bluffed off the best hand that much. The bit about the CL I don't get, I think you misread the HH because it is not the CL we are playing against.

And like I said, I don't think we will get a fish off Qx ever.

Sorry dude misread the stacks. Everything I said about the hand still stands especially as SS he should never flat Ax but 3 bet it and Qx is only part of his range, everything else you are pretty much ahead and should bet to extract value.

I agree that he shouldn't be flatting, but that doesn't mean he won't

But yeah I lean more towards cbetting myself now as well.

My assumption is that he should 3 bet shove Ax in this stack setup always for such blind depth. Check in equilab combos and see how many Ax (small ones) he would flat and which ones he would 3 bet, also check flatting Qx combos and all the rest he will flat. In the end you will see that Ax he would flat and Qx are only small part of his whole range and that c betting would be a profitable line long term here. (my assumption)

i would cbet once and just check behind turn, hoping for a cheap showdown. To beh honest i dont see two streets of value here with our hand, and as Demonic saif i am not too afraid that he will bluff us off with his agression factor.

Just bet flop. It's true it's gonna be hard for him to call worse-but you are planning to fold to a turn bet and fish could definitely try his luck as in his eyes your line is weak. That's one thing, second thing is that you give him a chance to realise free equity-9/T/J/K are all in his flat range, so why would u do that? On top-he could have some FDs to call flop with.
