I think readless it's a bet/fold.
I don't see why we are excluding A8/T8/88 which are definitely in his range in BvB, so without reads I prefer to fold here.

Again i thought that he might 3bet T8 pre (because in most cases i would ♦), but given that he doesn't seems 3bet happy he might flat it. You think its more like standard defend vs looser opponent? I mean good enough to call?

that said, given such a dry flop, why would Villain raise his value range rather than call and let Hero fire the Turn?

So the bet/3bet isnt terrible but a high variance minimal gain play generally worse than bet-folding?

I don't know. If you got set or 2p here what are you scared of? Yes, they raise for value, but vs non fishy guy what im continuing with?

Well, something like K :diamond:Q i might call and play more like a fit fold on later streets. J :diamond:8 i think is still a 3bet.

T8s is good enough to defend in bvb - we have position, we also have a nice hand so it is playable.

I would most likely always raise my two pair+ on this board as in order to have bluff range we need to have a value one as well, and having only a bluff range will be bad without information.

On AT8tt when we have the FD, I would bet/call and reevaluate turn.
We block a lot of the FD combos, so he has less draws, also still plenty of two pairs and we will only make him fold some bluffs (which we beat and could shut down if called) and some hands like AJ in case he decides to raise it for value, but usually when they raise AJ they tend to overplay it.
