Players did not show strenght in PF, so there was a risk that someone had 8 on his hand. On the flop I decided to play c/c
On turn, I played bet to see where I am with my hand, he only called, So I thought that probably I am a way ahead.
Afriad of river nine, I playd c/c

This is difficult situation for me, which offten appears, so I please for a rich advice;-)

Why do you bet on the turn but not on the flop?

This is just to let you think about this in a different way since it might help you understand it quicker.
