If your c-bet gets called the pot will be double your remaining tokens, so you must push anyway. So you can consider a push on the flop. It is unlikely villian holds a Q. If villian wants to chase you can make him pay for it.

I was the pre-flop aggressor. His raise on the flop would show a lot of strength wouldnt it? Should I then fold?

On NL25 you cant give the chum credit for much. If he flat calls you and then lead bets into the PFA with top set he is chum. I would push all-in and make a note that he donks the flop oop. Many bad players see a paired drawy board and think that bluffing is a good option.

you can go broke on the flop, but i didnt think this is a very nice play, its just simple

bet Flop and push the Turn is also a possibility.
