Postflop: I don't think it's terrible to call here as a lot of people will give up on the turn unimproved. The only small thing to consider is his stack that may make him more willing to put money in the pot with weaker holdings (on the turn that is).

ahhh i see what you mean. so because he bet so big, this could be an indication that he's gonna be more committed to the pot on following streets, even with a weaker holding, because his stack size is so small. Which means this spot is more likely to go over multiple streets postflop, which should prompt me more towards a fold on the flop.

I mean PSB bets are rare even at 20nl so they do raise an eye brow or two when they happen.
