PokerStars - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BTN: $26.50 (VPIP: 21.26, PFR: 16.54, 3Bet Preflop: 4.26, Hands: 130)
SB: $84.83 (VPIP: 45.45, PFR: 9.09, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 11)
Hero (BB): $31.19
UTG: $30.03 (VPIP: 100.00, PFR: 100.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 1)
MP: $38.45 (VPIP: 14.66, PFR: 11.21, 3Bet Preflop: 2.17, Hands: 118)
CO: $49.34 (VPIP: 30.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 22)

SB posts SB $0.10, Hero posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has J♠ Q♥

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.50

Flop: ($1.50, 2 players) 6♥ 6♣ J♣
SB checks, Hero bets $0.95, SB calls $0.95

Turn: ($3.40, 2 players) 2♠
SB checks, Hero bets $2.25, SB calls $2.25

River: ($7.90, 2 players) Q♦
SB bets $3.75, Hero raises to $8.00, SB calls $4.25

Villain check/calls twice then donks for 1/2 pot on river. I raised there, as this seemed like a block bet of some kind. As a standard, would you guys raise or just call here?

I'd definitely raise, it's pretty unlikely that villain has 6x-hand since he check/called flop and turn as a PFR. Villain might have some Jx-hands, missed flushdraws, QcXc or some sort of 88 that villain decides to turn into a bluff, who knows. Villain is most likely a fish, just raise for value.

Hi boozaf

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I would also raise here and you can make it even bigger. This does look like a block bet of sorts but fish still can't fold to (not so big) raises.

I'd probably make it $9.5 (keep it under $10).
